Biden was set to make the statement in the White House after Tuesday following a trip to some residency website in Virginia, a White House official said.
With nations slowly expanding eligibility beyond these priority groups as older individuals and fundamental, front-line workers, the president intends to declare that each and every adult in the U.S. will qualify by April 19 to be vaccinated,” the official said.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity to talk about Biden’s plans prior to the formal statement.
The new deadline of April 19 is two weeks sooner than Biden’s first May 1 deadline.
The president also announced just last week that 90 percent of adults would qualify for one of three accepted offenses by April 19, in addition to having a vaccination site in 5 miles of their property.
