Special election will fill Alcee Hastings seat; Time is up into DeSantis
The vacancy created by the passing of U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings is going to likely be filled by the voters. Florida law provides Gov. Ron DeSantis wide authority to choose the time of the unique primary and general elections.
